With energy and professionalism, Peter Sayer serves clients as an associate
in the De Castro Law Firm. He is one of the reasons that the
firm has maintained its reputation for high quality legal work during
a phenomenal growth period.
Born in New York City, Mr. Sayer graduated from McGill University in 1998, from where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and French Literature. While there, he became fully fluent in written and conversational French. After completing his undergraduate studies, he lived abroad for one year in the Czech Republic, where he taught English at a business school.
Upon returning to New York City, and before enrolling in law school, Mr. Sayer did trademark research work for a company which offers trademark reports to those who wish to use certain trademarks in the regular course of business. He then went on to study at Brooklyn Law School, from where he graduated in 2004.
While at law school, Mr. Sayer honed his skills in advocacy, as he interned for the Criminal Defense Division of the Legal Aid Society of Kings County. In addition, he served as a research assistant for a prominent professor on a wide range of issues, spanning from intellectual property law to human rights.
Mr. Sayer was admitted to practice law in New York in 2005.
